Die Alternative-Rock-Ikone Perry Farrell (Psi Com, Jane’s Addiction, Porno for Pyros, Satellite Party) wurde von Jim DeRogatis gefragt, ob es nicht etwas undemokratisch sei, dass es auf dem Lollapalooza Festivals neben den normalen Stehplätze auch Luxuszelte für die Besserverdienenden gibt. Seine Antwort darauf:
Democracy is based on capitalism, and if you don’t have capitalism, you have communism. And capitalism is going to help the world beat these assholes, because you have the right to take the money out of your pocket and say, ‘I don’t agree with you, I don’t like foreign oil and I’m not going to use it.
