Letzten Freitag waren die Besnard Lakes aus Montréal in der Sendung “Sound Opinion” des Chicagoer Radiosenders “Public Radio” zu Gast. Bevor die Band um das Ehepaar Jace Lasek und Olga Goreas zu hören ist (unter anderem mit drei Liveaufnahmen) werden in dieser unterhaltsamen Show unter anderem folgende Themen abgehandelt: die Kommerzialisierung der großen Festivals, der Lollapalooza-Auftritt von Iggy Pop an der Grenze zum Chaos, Adolf Hitlers Schallplattensammlung sowie Marilyn Mansons Großeinkauf von Nazidevotionalien, Präparaten und einem Skelett.
